VIÑEDOS 2000 offers a wide variety of table grapes for export during the months of May and June, always committed to commercial innovation within a sanitary environment and sustainable agriculture.

Viñedos 2000 has been in the production of table grapes since 2000. It is a family company that has been operating for two generations by the Castelo family. Our fields are located in Pesqueira, Hermosillo, Sonora, in a semi-desert and semi-warm climate with cold winters.

Mr. Arturo Castelo Parada began in 1966 as a agriculturist within the agricultural zone of the Yaqui Valley, in the Municipality of Obregón; derived from agrarian affectations in 1976, he moved to the city of Hermosillo in 1977 where he began agricultural activity in the region of the Coast of Hermosillo, acquiring land that was used for the exploitation of different production lines, among which grains (wheat, chickpea, safflower, corn) and fruit trees (orange, walnut, peach and grape) are mentioned; businesses that were operated as individuals with business activity. In 1986 he acquired land in the area of Pesqueira (La Tracalita vineyard).

Given the business vision and under the business expansion plans for the exploitation of table grape vineyards, the Castelo López Arias family acquired a surface area in 1999. of land with agricultural vocation in the region of Pesqueira, Sonora, which is an area considered the most optimal for the development of vineyards due to its climatic characteristics, which provide very competitive advantages to achieve early sales of grapes to the export market, today VINEYARDS 2000.

ARTURO CASTELO PARADA and sons make up a family farming company called Viñedos 2000, located in the north of the capital city of the state of Sonora. Its vineyards are located one a few kilometers from the town of Zamora, in the municipality of Hermosillo and the other 3.5 kilometers from the Hermosillo – Nogales international highway, next to the town of Pesquería in the municipality of San Miguel de Horcasitas.

Our grapes are marketed in the United States by Delano Farms and Four Stars, two table grape marketers and producers located in the city of Delano, CA. Mr. Castelo’s right arm in the production for Viñedos 2000 is his son, Sergio Castelo, who directs the daily activities regarding the management of the different varieties that make up the 724-hectare vineyard.

The mission of the Castelo family is to grow and offer the best table grapes in Mexico in a constant way year after year coupled with an environment oriented to safety and service.

The grapes labeled “Viñedos 2000”, “The Count” or “El marques” as well as the grapes from our distributors are marketed throughout the world and are found in many luxury stores around Mexico and the United States.

We cater to all clients, offering conventional and organic grapes. Today, Viñedos 2000 harvests, packages, and ships around 200,000 boxes of organic varieties and 1.8 million boxes of domestic varieties. We offer more than 15 years of exports with excellent quality and service.
