It’s characterized by the shape of its leaves: elongated ones, that can measure up to 7cm length (around 1.4 in), with a cleft on the distal end. Its calibre ranges between 20 to 35 mm. Its taste is fresh, with a graduation of no less than 16 Brix. It’s a robust seedless grape, and it has a good capability for storage. The natural characteristics of these varieties translate to less work on the fields, and its resistance to various diseases and meteorological conditions allow us to use a considerably smaller quantity of chemical products*. Nowadays, 60% of Labrunier’s production is kept for the local market, and 40% is exported.
